Our Senior Associate and Head of our In-house Arabic Desk Estelle Rami has successfully participated in the business meeting “Greece & 5 Mashriq Countries: Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria”, organized by the Arab-Greek Chamber and which was under the auspices of the Greek Ministries of Development and Investment, Foreign Affairs, Tourism, Environment and Energy and of the Union of Arab Chambers.

The event was organised to promote the business opportunities and ties between Greece and the 5 Mashriq Countries and great emphasis was placed on networking and live meetings between Greek businessmen and their Arab counterparts from various business sectors. A big representation from the Chamber of Commerce of Syria and Iraq was present and many potential projects at both governmental and private levels and in relation to the modernization of infrastructure, alternative and sustainable energy, pharmaceutical industry, agri-food industry and tourism, were presented.

Estelle Rami has represented Foutsis & Partners, which is the only Greek law firm with a full fledged Arabic desk that can support companies and individuals from those countries to establish their businesses in Greece and/or to make investments.
